Is HIV really that big of a problem?
While there have been many advancements in the understanding and treatment of HIV, the virus still has a stubborn hold in the US. According to HIV.gov, there are roughly 1.2 million cases of HIV in the US; 13% of those cases do not know they have the infection. So, while it may not appear to be that big of a problem, it exists, and so we still strive to end the epidemic and improve the livelihoods of everyone living with HIV.
What if I want to get tested?
There are many options for free, rapid HIV testing all over the state of Indiana. Several of our community partners offer these services, so please check out their websites to find options that work best for you.
Are there ways I can help if I don’t have money to donate?
Of course! We are always looking for members to join our monthly meetings. Community input is vital to providing the best care to the people who need it most. Putting on our events takes time and effort, and we will never turn down a helping hand.
